Stiffness

Feeling stiff is one of the most common symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. Many people experience stiffness in the neck, shoulders and calves the worst, but it can be pretty much anything.

For me, the things that have helped the most are to keep moving as much as possible and yoga.

If you have a period of time where you are going to be sedentary try to get up and walk around, or do some head rotations and stretch out periodically.

I have not been going to formal yoga classes, but have been doing 30 minute sessions from a class that is online. The ones I use, need a subscription.

There appear to be quite a few free yoga videos on YouTube. Can anyone comment on any free online yoga or stretching classes?
